  • Are You Interested in Becoming a Teacher?

Train to Teach at the Pimlico-London SCITT

Our Initial Teacher Training programme, the Pimlico-London SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training), sets a new standard in knowledge-rich, school-based teacher training. Training as part of a SCITT gives you the opportunity to learn ‘on the job’ from the very beginning. You will benefit from working and learning every day in a school and getting an immediate insight into what teaching involves.

We offer you the opportunity to gain QTS and a PGCE in the dynamic environment of our Trust. Our ITT professional training programme has been designed to allow graduates the opportunity to take responsibility for a small number of their own classes from the start of the academic year, whilst receiving high-quality mentoring and training. As the year progresses, you will be given the opportunity to increase the number of classes you are responsible for. You will undergo a bespoke programme to meet you own individual needs.

We are recruiting trainee teachers in all subjects at both primary and secondary level.

The Future Teach Scholarship is sponsored by Future for exceptional candidates with excellent subject knowledge who are applying to teach in the following subjects: Maths, Science (especially Physics), and Modern Languages (French & Spanish). The scholarship entitles the trainee to a one year contract of employment to be extended at the governors’ discretion, for the training fee of £9,000 to be waived, and access to a £29,000 bursary paid over 12 monthly instalments.
