Pimlico String Day
Students from Pimlico Academy played alongside students from Churchill Gardens Primary Academy and Pimlico Primary at String Day on Wednesday, 27 June.
The day was run by the Pimlico Academy Music Department, who regularly organise concerts and performances around London to maintain a positive relationship with the community.
The String Day featured a whole range of musical instruments, (all of which are available for students at Pimlico to practise in) and a whole host of Classical music gems. Students, staff and parents attended from the two primary academies, which are also part of Future Academies, as well as those from Pimlico Academy.
The String Day is one of a number of concerts the Academy organises throughout the year: the next one will be the Summer Festival on Thursday 12 July, which we are all very much looking forward to.
