Pimlico Citizenship Students campaign for important issues
Before half-term, year 10 Citizenship GCSE students interviewed a range of experts on their chosen campaign topic of Islamophobia.
This term, students will be putting their ideas into action and campaigning on this vital issue in our Academy and local community.
Young Citizens is an education charity working in primary and secondary schools to help educate, inspire and motivate the active citizens of tomorrow.
It helps them engage in the debates and in the decision-making processes that affect their futures, and to see how the rule of law is central to democratic society.
It is hoped that through this programme, our students will develop into active citizens and will be empowered to take action on the issues that matter to them. This is so important for their futures.
